tesa® 60412 Recycled PET packaging tape is now also available in a brown and a white variant making it a versatile product contributing to sustainability. It has unique properties that enable our customers worldwide to use more sustainable tape solutions and make it an excellent choice for businesses that want to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.
Taking on more responsibility for the world around us is becoming increasingly important – for tesa as a company, for our employees, and for our business partners and customers. That is why we have developed two new color variants of our transparent tesa® 60412 with 70% post-consumer recycled PET waste in the backing.
Properties and applications of tesa® 60412 Recycled PET packaging tape
The backing of tesa® 60412 Recycled PET packaging tape is made from post-consumer recycled PET waste and is strong and abrasion resistant. Together with the robust solvent-free acrylic adhesive system, it offers a high performance which makes the tape ideal for sealing light and medium-weight cartons up to 30 kg. For convenient use in day-to-day production, the tape unwinds quietly and can be applied by both manual and automatic dispensers.
The tape can be printed with all types of ink systems, allowing companies to customise it for their branding or promotional purposes, ensuring a consistent look and feel to the packaging. It also has strong adhesion to recycled cartons. Once the packaging has served its purpose, the tape can be disposed of with the carton without harming the recycling process (certified according to INGEDE Method 12).
The introduction of the new brown and white variants of tesa® 60412 Recycled PET packaging tape provides our customers with an additional competitive advantage.
