Adhesive tapes to get the railway industry on track

01Masking

Removable adhesive tapes are used for masking surfaces during painting, sandblasting, or coating processes to protect certain areas and create a perfect two-tone appearance. Thanks to their excellent conformability, they are used in the railway industry for complex, curved applications. For larger areas, adhesive tapes offer a fast, efficient, and simple solution.

02Mounting

Rail industry adhesives are used in the sector to mount components permanently, such as control panels, signage, and interior fixtures. With them, metal and plastic parts, as well as mirror or glass panes can be secured to a multitude of interior surfaces. When building and fitting out carriages, adhesive mounting tapes can also be used to easily position and adjust small parts before they are permanently fixed.

03Protection

Adhesive materials provide temporary protection for delicate surfaces during production, transportation, and maintenance. In addition, protection tapes shield against corrosion, wear, and environmental factors on exposed surfaces (both internal and external) in the long term.

04Flooring

Adhesives securely bond carpet and other flooring materials to the substrate, ensuring a durable and long-lasting finish. And they can also be used to permanently fix floor profiles, even in heavy-stress or high-temperature locations.

05Anti-slip

In the rail industry, adhesive tapes are often applied to areas where additional grip is required, for example, steps, aisles, and walkways. These weather-resistant, high-adhesive anti-slip tapes help prevent slips and falls, enhancing passenger safety.
