tesa Site Suzhou (tSS) consists of diversified organizations such as Plant Suzhou, Research & Development Center, and Purchasing Network, which gives tesa a unique competitive advantage in China.
tesa Plant Suzhou was built in 2005 in record time. With some 180 employees and an annual production of 25 million square meters, tesa Plant Suzhou produces mainly double-sided special adhesive tapes for the Electronics and Automotive Industries.

Over 100 Engineers, Chemists and Technicians in Product Development, Technology Platforms and Customer Solution Center collaborate closely with our industrial customers and research partners in Greater China and Asia Pacific. In order to further strengthen our market position in Asia and especially in China we are investing over 35 million Euro in the tesa Site Suzhou until 2022. Key elements are a high precision clean room production line, a further extension of our R&D setup and a new Customer Solution Center. These investments are part of tesa’s 2025 strategy, with a significant focus on our sustainable growth targets.
