Frequently asked questions around the application process

What is the application process and when can I expect feedback?

As soon as you have sent us your application via our online application system, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt of your application by e-mail. Our recruiters will contact you as soon as possible. Depending on the position and the required consultation with the department, however, it may take some time. Therefore, please have patience and understanding if it takes some time to receive feedback.

I didn’t find a job offer, which suits my interest. Can I send a speculative application?

Unfortunately, we do not accept speculative applications. The job advertisements on our homepage are always up to date. Set up a “Job Agent”, which will inform you by e-mail about new jobs in the area in which you are interested. 

Can I also apply in writing by mail or by e-mail?

No, please apply exclusively online via our application system. Applications submitted elsewhere cannot be considered

What do I have to pay attention to when applying?

You should upload your CV, your last university or school education certificate and relevant professional references or samples (if available). If you wish, you can also attach a current photo. But beware! The total size of all uploaded documents should not exceed 10 MB!

Who can view my entered data and how long will it remain stored?

Your data can be viewed by our responsible tesa Human Resources employees and by the relevant department. We store your personal data in your candidate profile for a period of 6 months after your last login. Additionally, you can request the deletion of your candidate profile or the withdrawal of your application by contacting us. For all details regarding our data protection policy, please refer to our Privacy Policy for Applicants. 

What is the application process for interns?

As soon as you have submitted your online application, you will receive an automatic confirmation that we have received your application. The relevant department will then contact you as soon as they can. Since many jobs or applications involve more than one team or department, we will also consider your application for further vacancies. We know that this process is lengthy for you. We therefore ask you to inform us if you withdraw your application because you have accepted another internship.

What happens if I withdraw my application?

If you no longer wish to be considered for a position, please withdraw your application. You can reapply at any time.

What should I include with my application for an internship?

Please enclose your university degree certificate, all relevant intermediate certificates, an overview of the degrees you have obtained and all references relevant to your profession and internship.
