Grand Rapids, Michigan
Grand Rapids, Michigan is the home of tesa tape North America's warehouse and distribution center.
When tesa opened its Sparta manufacturing facility, the warehouse was part of the plant. In 1995, the warehouse moved to Central Valley, New York and was converted to a distribution center. In January 2002, the facility moved back to Michigan and was established in Grand Rapids, a short driving distance from tesa Plant Sparta.
The Grand Rapids warehouse and distribution center services the U.S. and Canada, taking weekly trips to our facilities in Texas and Mexico. We also ship to all our affiliates worldwide.
In 2021, we shipped over 25,000 domestic orders along with over 1,000 global orders. We also have a samples department that shipped over 3,000 orders in 2021. With a new machine added to the facility in 2019, sample orders we turned around in one to two days, instead of the prior one to two weeks.
