More options to meet your plate mounting needs
When it comes to plate mounting, we have you covered. Our comprehensive range has the solution to make every print job run smoothly, increasing your efficiency and sustainability. You can get everything you need in one place, and our proven supply chains ensure you are never held back from meeting your clients’ requirements.
Our two plate mounting technologies are tesa® Softprint tapes and the reusable, self-adhesive tesa® Twinlock sleeves. Both ensure exceptional print results. When it comes to choosing which is right for you, we offer on-site consultations.
What does that mean for you?
We are the only supplier in the market offering both self-adhesive tapes and reusable sleeves, meaning we offer you unbiased consultation on which technology is the right one for you. We take the time to get to know your processes, typical print jobs and organizational goals before recommending the best solution for your pressroom.
tesa® Twinlock
tesa® Twinlock is a more sustainable, reusable plate mounting solution. It features a compressible sleeve with a self-adhesive layer that can be reactivated for each run. As the plate is mounted directly onto the sleeve, no mounting tape is required. We offer three different hardness levels as well as different thickness coating layers to ensure it perfectly meets your needs. Mounting and demounting is simplified, having a positive effect on your efficiency. This is further increased by the consistent compressibility of the PU foam layer, eliminating the need for on-press adjustments during long runs and compensating for vibrations. There is a higher initial cost for tesa® Twinlock, yet this can be quickly recouped through the efficiencies and savings it will continue to deliver.
tesa® Softprint
tesa® Softprint is our well-proven family of plate mounting tapes. We are constantly evolving these in order to fulfill all market needs. Crucially, we apply no stress to the foam during the production process. This allows the foam to deliver constant results and give you deep colors, fine detailing, and color consistency. The full range includes six hardness levels, two product designs (Classic and Flex), seven adhesives, and two different liners. Such exceptional variety enables you to find the selection to meet your specific print needs without having to adapt any internal processes or conditions.
