As a multi-national company, tesa has been developing innovative tapes and self-adhesive product solutions for industry, commercial customers, and end consumers for more than 125 years. tesa is increasingly employing this expertise for more sustainable adhesive solutions and products. After all, we are convinced that the quality of modern adhesive applications is being defined by their sustainability to an ever more significant degree.

To do justice to the transformation of market requirements in the direction of greater sustainability, we are focusing on what we have been doing best for more than 125 years: developing innovative solutions. The model of the circular econo-my is increasingly becoming our guiding principle.

Repairs:
tesa® products that can be used to repair things ensure that these things can be used for longer. This helps to reduce waste.
Recyclability:
Many of our solutions enable components to be separated from one another again so that they can be recycled. This helps our customers to save resources.
Energy efficiency:
Adhesive solutions can replace screw and welded connectors and so reduce the weight of products like cars, which then require less energy to power them.

We ensure that energy and resource consumption in our factories and plants is as efficient as possible. We want production to be completely climate-neutral by 2030 (Scope 1 and 2)

We strive for complete transparency in our supply chains and are increasingly selecting our suppliers based on whether they share our high sustainability standards.
3. Development:
When selecting elements for products and backing materials, we are always on the lookout for more sustainable solutions, though never at the expense of high product quality. This is the most important factor at tesa.
4. Disposal:
We look for recycling and disposal options for the end of every product's life and create joint solutions with industrial customers and partners.
5. Product use:
By expanding our range of more sustainable products, we want to support our customers with achieving their own sustainability targets.
