More recycled content inside: tesa® 60412 Recycled PET packaging tape

tesa® 60412 now contains 90% recycled plastic in the backing

Our more sustainable tesa® 60412 Recycled PET packaging tape started out as a transparent tape with 70% PCR recycled plastic in the backing. As we are constantly improving our products, we later introduced brown and white variants, and now we have increased the recycled content of the backing material to 90%. In this way, we are reducing the need for virgin plastic even further.

Same performance, same price – with more PCR PET

tesa® 60412 Recycled PET packaging tape is ideal for sealing light and medium-weight cartons up to 30 kg. Its strong and abrasion resistant backing and the solvent-free acrylic adhesive system offer the same performance at the same price as before.

The tape features an excellent printability, allowing companies to customise it for their branding or promotional purposes. For convenient use in day-to-day production, the tape unwinds quietly and can be applied by both manual and automatic dispensers. Once the packaging has served its purpose, the tape can be disposed of with the carton without harming the recycling process (according to INGEDE Method 12).
