Light the candles for a change! Harsh light on a Valentine's Day date is no good at all. Much nicer: Flickering candlelight especially when it's packaged as lovingly as it is in this lantern you decorated yourself with paper.
This is what we need: a straight glass lantern, red or pink cardboard, patterned papers, glitter paper, steel rule, pinking sheers, cutter, cut-resistant underlay with centimeter grid, pencil, tesafilm® Mini Abroller ecoLogo®, tesa® Roller Kleben Permanent ecoLogo®
Cut cardboard to size as follows: Circumference of the lantern + 1 cm x height of the lantern + 7 cm. Draw a line with the pencil on the long side at a 5 cm distance to the edge and make cuts from there over the entire width at 1 cm intervals with the cutter.
Out of the patterned paper cut a 5 cm wide strip the length of the cardboard and stick to the bottom of the front of the cut cardboard with the tesa® Roller Kleben Permanent ecoLogo®.
Stick the strips to the bottom of the front of the cut cardboard.
Cut a 1.5 cm wide strip out of the glitter paper with the pinking shears and stick it to the middle of the 5 cm wide strip.
Put the finished sleeve around the lantern and affix it on the back with tesafilm®.
Carefully and evenly bend the individual strips to the outside.
