Using tesa® Mounting Tape for Wallpaper & Plaster 10kg/m
It’s never been easy to mount things securely on textured surfaces like wallpaper - until now, that is. This will support 10kg/m so whatever you need secured, you’ve got it covered. Not suitable for use on vinyl wallpaper or non-stick surfaces (e.g. silicon, PTFE).
02Apply the Mounting Tape
Cut and apply lengths of Mounting Tape vertically to either your object or the wall – whichever has the rougher texture. Since the load will be greater at the top of the hanging area, apply additional tape to this section.
03Activate the Powerbond® Technology
Press or rub firmly along the back of each length of tape for at least 5 seconds to activate the Powerbond® Technology, and you’re almost there.
04Mount the object
Now simply peel the protective foil from the tape, align the object and then press it to the surface. To ensure the perfect bond, take 5 seconds more to press down across the entire hanging area (or the whole surface of the mirror, shelf or whatever you want to mount) and you’re done.
