tesa® 52916

For the mounting of photopolymer plates on compressible sleeves

Product description

tesa® 52916 is specially designed for mounting photopolymer plates (1.14mm [0.045"] or 1.70mm [0.067"]) on compressible (foam) sleeves. It is a double-sided tape with a differential adhesive.

High open side adhesion ensures a secure bond when applying directly to the foam coated sleeve.

The tailored adhesion on the plate side guarantees that plates can be repositioned and demounted easily, but are held securely during printing.

Due to its minimal thickness, the polyester film backing provides the ideal carrier between both print plate and sleeve. This eliminates any interference, allowing the sleeve to compress and recover freely whilst printing.
