tesa® 60150 Adhesion Promoter universal can be used to improve the adhesion of tesa's pressure-sensitive adhesive tape offering to various substrates including zinc, steel and PP/EPDM. It is especially recommended for our ACXplus product family. The UV-traceability of our tesa® 60150 Adhesion Promoter allows easy quality control during the application process.

Application Fields
Our tesa® 60150 Adhesion Promoter is recommended for several substrates such as PVC, PP/EPDM, ABS, zinc, steel or aluminum. The compatibility with other surfaces should always be tested accordingly. This product can be used to significantly improve the bonding strength of tesa® ACXplus tapes. Testing shows significantly higher peel adhesion values.

Additional Info
Before using our adhesion promoter, the bonding surface should be free of dust, grease, oil, moisture, and other contaminants. Therefore, we highly recommend cleaning the substrate with a lint-free cloth using solvents, such as ethanol or isopropanol alcohol or our tesa® 60040 Industry Cleaner.
Once the surface has been cleaned, you can go ahead and apply our tesa® 60150 Adhesion Promoter. We recommend applying our adhesion promoters with a lint-free cloth, brush or sponge. Other than that, an applicator pen or felt applicator can be used. The entire surface should be coated thinly with adhesion promoter in order to reach the highest bonding performance. It is important to wait at least 30 seconds (and a maximum of 5 minutes) in order to give solvents time to evaporate. Please make sure to keep the prepared surface free of contaminants prior to applying the tape.
Once the substrate has been properly pre-treated with tesa® 60150 Adhesion Promoter, the bond should be established within 15 minutes. Please note that due to the multitude of available substrate formulations in the marketplace, it is recommended to test our tesa® Adhesion Promoter prior to usage.
• The shelf life of this product amounts to at least 12 months when stored at room temperature in its sealed original container.
