tesa® 60120 can be used to improve the adhesion of tesa® Twinlock or tesa® Softprint offering to various substrates especially PET stabilization films from photopolymer printing plates.

Application Fields
Our tesa® 60120 is recommended for using on the backside of printing plates. This product can be used to significantly improve the bonding strength of tesa® Twinlock or tesa® Softprint. Testing shows significantly higher peel adhesion values.

Additional Info
Before using our adhesion promoter, the bonding surface should be free of dust, grease, oil, moisture, and other contaminants. Therefore, we highly recommend cleaning the substrate with a lint-free cloth using 100 % of IPA.
Once the surface has been cleaned, you can go ahead and apply our tesa® 60120 with the Pen. The relevant surface should be coated thinly with adhesion promoter in order to reach the highest bonding performance. It is important to wait at least one minute in order to give solvents time to evaporate. Please make sure to keep the prepared surface free of contaminants prior to the application.
