During foam injection, there is a risk that the PU foam could squeeze out of small gaps and joints. To avoid this, a tape that bonds to the PU foam should be used to cover all gaps and joints. In small corners and joints, the best solution is to use cloth tape, as this fits the shape more easily.
The tape used should have a high adhesion value. The backing should bond to the PU foam and it should be easy to unwind and tearable by hand.
