tesa Group sales slightly up year-on-year
The tesa Group’s organic sales were above those of the previous year (1.2%). Exchange rate effects reduced sales by 1.9 percentage points. Structural effects also reduced growth by 0.3 percentage points.
Consequently, tesa’s nominal sales fell by 1.0% to € 855 million (previous year € 863 million).

This positive sales trend was based on good growth in the industrial business as well as on business with end consumers in Europe and America. In contrast, sales in Asia remained below the level of the previous year as a result of weakening demand from the electronics industry.
The EBIT of the tesa Group was reduced to € 146 million (previous year: € 149 million). The EBIT return on sales reached 17.0% (previous year: 17.2%).
