Science and technology are extremely important to us and our business, so we want to strive and develop new ideas constantly. We believe that by sharing our expertise and know-how with the next generation, we can show young talents how exciting science and technology can be.
This is why in our Suzhou site in China we initiated our tesa STEM (Science, Technology Engineering, Mathematics) course! The project's goal is to encourage students at the age of 10 to 12 to become interested in science and technology, to think in a scientific way, raise their hands, ask their questions and share their ideas. Along with interesting scientific lectures and hands on experiments, guided volunteerly by our colleagues, we are happy and proud to share our knowledge and have fun projects!
"Our brain is not made for VUCA world", says Johannes Moskaliuk, Professor of Psychology and Management at the International School of Management in Stuttgart. In our virtual tesa talk today he explained to our colleagues how our brain works and how we can use it to handle the VUCA world and make good decisions:
• Define and visualze the true north
• Differentiate between ambiguity and uncertainty
• Set measurable goals to reach the next steps
Thank you, Johannes, for the interesting lecture!
