What is splicing tape used for?
Splicing tape is used to join film sheet, paper, corrugated board, and other materials like non-woven sheets and fluff pulp. In the paper and printing industry, splicing tapes are used for tabbing and closing rolls of printing substrate, in addition to joining two materials so that it forms a longer printing surface that offers continuous manufacturing process. Splicing tapes are used across industries with various types of backing material and adhesive depending on the materials being spliced. For instance, film splicing tapes are used for the splicing of photographic film for processing, either manual or machine operated.
