Nico Glantz is one of our home-grown talents. He completed his apprenticeship as a chemical technician at tesa in 2011 and has also completed his master's degree during his 13-year tenure with the company. "My time at tesa has gone by in a flash. The work is varied and I always enjoy it," says Nico Glantz, who describes himself as a "tinkerer" and particularly appreciates working in a team on an equal footing with others. As well as taking on responsibility within his team, he is also demonstrating his commitment to the Norderstedt pilot centre in his role as waste coordinator. In this role he is responsible for the monitoring and separation of waste for recycling.
Shilika Mwanza She joined tesa a little over a year ago as a team assistant for office management and digital projects. "Right from the start, I appreciated the international atmosphere here," says the 25-year-old. She also likes the fact that many people have been with tesa for a long time. Her boss told her that she cannot remember a single boring day at tesa in over 25 years. And that's exactly what she wants for her own career as well: "I learn with every new task and every question that comes up. I always find a solution. Perseverance is my motto.”
Dario Porchetta has been working as a product developer in the Electrical Systems department at tesa since the summer of 2023. Internationality is not only in his blood. It is also on the tip of his tongue: Porchetta speaks five languages fluently. His mother tongue is Italian. This helps him interact with people and learn about different cultures when he travels. Travelling is his great passion and the native of Rome has been to many countries on business. He was particularly impressed by his visit to Ghana: "Things work differently there," he says. "But everything works and follows its own logic. It was an experience that taught me a great deal".
